Colliers Engineering’s Blockbuster Debut

Colliers Engineering & Design is thrilled to announce our inaugural participation in the 2025 Capital Region CANstruction competition. This year’s theme, “Lights, CANmera, Action,” has inspired our team to design a structure that captures the magic of the movies, reflecting our excitement to contribute to this meaningful cause.​ 

Our office has always been interested in competing in CANstruction and supporting The Food Pantries, and this year, we are finally making it happen. We could not be more excited to be part of this fantastic event! Colliers Engineering & Design is even more excited about the theme this year, “Lights, CANmera, Action.” We couldn’t wait to get started on the design and are thrilled to build our first structure. The smell of popcorn, the excitement of seeing a new 3D movie, stopping by the concession counter to get a treat, getting the ticket and finding the theater – sounds like a perfect time!​  

Each display is a testament to the creativity and generosity of our community, working together to tackle hunger one can at a time.​ Together, we can make a significant impact in the fight against hunger in our region.​ We encourage everyone to visit Crossgates Mall during the exhibition to view the incredible structures created by participating teams. Starting Tuesday, May 6th, stop by and vote for your favorite build!
