About Hunger Heroes
The CANstruction Hunger Heroes Food and Fund Drive is an annual competition that runs in conjunction with Capital Region CANstruction.
The Hunger Heroes program invites teams of all shapes and sizes to collect food and funds to benefit The Food Pantries for the Capital District and is the official kickoff to Capital Region CANstruction! It provides everyone with an opportunity to be a part of the significant impact of our regional event and all food and funds raised contribute towards the CANstruction totals.
How it Works
Registered teams will earn 1 point for every pound of food raised and 6 points for every dollar raised – teams can be made up of companies, organizations, groups of friends, families, school groups, etc. The top three teams will receive a special honor.
Registered teams will receive a confirmation email with competition instructions and a tool kit for success.
