News from the kW Mission Critical Engineering Set

TROY -- It’s busy behind the scenes at kW Mission Critical Engineering’s set as our team finalizes the design of our blockbuster CANstructure and supporting materials ahead of the opening day for “Lights, CANmera, Action,” CANstruction Capital Region, NY, 2025! This year, our CANstructure is based on the popular Disney/Pixar Studios movie “Elemental.”

This year’s kW MCE/WSP team, under the seasoned leadership of director Michael Gontarek, is a blend of people who simply go with the flow and those who ignite sparks wherever they go! While our personalities CAN (and do) clash, there’s one thing we CAN all agree on: Ending hunger in the Capital Region is “Elemental!” We’re preparing for Build Day on Monday, May 5, at Crossgates Mall in Guilderland, where we’ll join other corporate teams from the area for this fun fundraising competition to help shine the spotlight on hunger right here in our community.

While our role in this production is important, YOU’RE the real ticket to making CANstruction 2025 a silver-screen success for The Food Pantries for the Capital District and its member organizations! You’ll feel like a real superstar when you contribute to this important cause which helps other Capital Region residents feed themselves and their families. 

So, how CAN YOU take action? It’s easy! Visit the CANstruction displays at Crossgates Mall between Monday, May 5, and Sunday, May 18, and vote for your favorite CANstructure with your non-perishable food donation. Each can is equal to one vote.
